LMC is intentional about meeting the needs of our community. We have partnered with local teachers who specialize in ESL to offer free conversational English classes for adults and childcare for those interested in learning English. For more information about this program contact Brittany Blotkamp here.

LMC partners with local foster organizations to provide encouragement to displaced children in the foster care system through our JammiePacks ministry. Each pack contains new pajamas, toiletries and a Bible. Our desire is that every foster child know the love of Jesus and that they are prayed for and cared about through this ministry. We love our community and have a great partnership with our school system. LMC volunteers partner weekly with the Charger PowerPaks program, a ministry of New Community Initiatives, are weekend food bags for students of West Noble Elementary who suffer from food insecurity.

How can you be a West Noble Re-Charger?

Sponsor A Student: A full sponsorship of $75 per year will provide 1 student with a PowerPak for 30 weekends. $50 will provide 1 student with a Power Pak for 20 weekends. $25 will provide 1 student with a PowerPak for 10 weekends

Be A Power-Packer: Volunteer to pack PowerPaks. Packing times are flexible. This is a great option for families, clubs, small groups, Sunday school classes, etc! A group of 4 could pack 100 PowerPaks in an hour. Packing will be done at Ligonier Missionary Church.

Be a PowerPak Driver: Volunteer to transport packed bags to West Noble Elementary School on Friday afternoons before 2:00 p.m.

For more information or to volunteer check out the Charger PowerPaks website.

The Turning Point Educational Center exists to provide a faith-based mentoring, support, education, and related services for struggling, at-risk students. They offer a holistic approach to education, focusing on academics, as well as mental, physical, and spiritual health.

We see this as a vital ministry in our community and have many individuals in our church who serve as board members, staff members and volunteers.  We are involved in other ways as well through discipling, working with students on community projects, and providing food for different events.  A highlight is when have individuals participate in a daily family time at the school where they share their personal testimonies and teach life lessons to the students.

We celebrate as we see the mission of Turning Point being fulfilled before us.
